Through hands-on volunteering with nonprofit organizations, charitable support through the Makena Foundation and board service, we support organizations and activities that reflect our core values.
Community Engagement
Forging Stronger Bonds
Collaboration is the foundation of our community engagement. We engage actively with local organizations, as well as the missions of our nonprofit clients. Firm leaders serve on the investment committees of educational institutions, and as board members and advisors to community organizations.
Locally, we volunteer with organizations such as Second Harvest Food Bank and Save the Bay and host an annual schoolsupplies drive. These efforts forge closer bonds with our clients, communities and with one another.
We focus on three areas:

Makena Foundation
Making a Difference Through Philanthropy
The Makena Foundation supports local organizations that strengthen and enrich our communities. Since its founding in 2019, Makena has contributed more than $6 million through the Foundation and other corporate giving initiatives. Established with a perpetual mission, the Foundation is designed to create lasting impact for generations to come.
